Hematoma de la vaina del recto abdominal como causa de abdomen agudo

Resumen

Presentamos el caso de un paciente con dolor abdominal agudo espontáneo con diagnóstico definitivo mediante tomografía axial computarizada (TCMD) de hematoma agudo de la vaina del músculo recto anterior del abdomen, una patología infrecuente que presenta grandes dificultades diagnósticas.

Los hallazgos de la TCMD nos permiten establecer el diagnóstico definitivo, definir las características del hematoma y la presencia de sangrado activo involucrando más frecuentemente a la arteria epigástrica inferior del abdomen.

Abstract

We present the case of a patient with spontaneous acute abdominal pain with definitive diagnosis by computerized axial tomography (MDCT) of acute hematoma of the anterior rectus abdominal muscle, an infrequent pathology that presents great diagnostic difficulties.

The findings of the MDCT allow us to establish the definitive diagnosis, define the characteristics of the hematoma and the presence of active bleeding involving more frequently the inferior epigastric artery of the abdomen.
