Resumen(en)

Congenital hepatic fibrosis is a rare disease with which the patient is born and sometimes does not manifest until childhood or adolescence. It is important to take this disease into account in order to be able to diagnose it because its symptoms can rarely be seen at those ages.

This letter presents the case of a 14 year old man referred from the hematology service, showing thrombocytopenia and a moderate elevation of transaminases.
